Learn from Miguel Santistevan—farmer, educator and founder of Huerta Sol Feliz—about the history, culture, and ecology of acequia irrigation structures, watersheds, and communities in northern New Mexico and southern Colorado. We will also discuss food traditions, agricultural methods, crop types, and challenges to the survival of acequia culture.
