2025 | Crime/Thriller | Directed by Daniel Roher, Starring Leo Woodall, Dustin Hoffman, Alisen Richmond-Peck | 1h 47m | R
Former pianist prodigy and talented piano turner, Nicki White, is forced to abandon his music career after developing hyperacusis. Spending time tuning pianos with his elderly father and mentor, he discovers an unexpected gift for cracking safes, turning his life upside down.
“Roher, in his impressive first go at a narrative film, has perfectly paired original storytelling, layered performances and borderline immersive audio. Fine-tuned, if you like.” – Johnny Oleksinski, New York Post
“An easy-going thriller throwback that mostly plays all the right notes, Tuner is winning and unexpectedly romantic, with Leo Woodall on fine form.” -Harry Stainer, Empire Magazine
