Cultivating Gratitude in Challenging Times

About this event

For Brett Perkins, cultivating gratitude is a thought-to-thought, breathe-to-breathe practice of regrounding in the present moment, being vigilant in continually reminding ourselves that each moment of life, regardless of immediate conditions or accompanying concerns, is a blessing, an awareness made even more clear over his past seven months traveling in economically impoverished countries.
California-born, based in Copenhagen, songwriter Brett Perkins has traveled to over 30 countries and played more than 5,000 concerts since 1977. First Prize winner, Great American Song Contest. Founder of Listening Room Songwriting Retreats, he’s assisted thousands of writers in developing their songs and careers. As former National Academy of Songwriters CEO, he’s produced concerts for Jackson Browne, Joni Mitchell, Tom Petty and Stevie Wonder.
