2001 | Action/Thriller | Directed by Rob Cohen, Vin Diesel, Paul Walker | PG-13 | 1h 46m
Los Angeles police officer Brian O’Conner (Paul Walker) must decide where his loyalties really lie when he befriends Dominic Toretto (Vin Diesel) and becomes enamored with the street racing world he has been sent undercover to destroy. Directed by Rob Cohen and starring Diesel, Walker, Michelle Rodriguez and Jordana Brewster, the film is produced by Neal H. Moritz.
“A gritty and gratifying cheap thrill, Rob Cohen’s high-octane hot-car meller is a true rarity these days, a really good exploitationer, the sort of thing that would rule at drive-ins if they still existed.” -Todd McCarthy, Variety
“A visceral, high-octane, Formula One of a flick that puts the pedal to the metal in the opening minutes and does not take the foot off the accelerator until the end credits.” -Neil Smith, BBC.com
