Katy P and the Business

Every town has the bands that become part of its rhythm, the ones people recommend before they’re asked. In Taos, Katy P and the Business have earned that place one packed dance floor at a time. Katy brings personality and presence to the microphone, drummer Norm Cutliff III gives familiar songs fresh momentum with quick, inventive playing, and guitarist Ryan Beckworth rounds out the sound with confident, melodic work. The dance floor at The Alley Cantina reflects the room itself: visitors, regulars, young couples, old friends— all finding common ground in songs they’ve known for years.
