About this event
For a second year, Lydia Johnston will be showing her new work in cold wax and oil at magpie over the weekend. Starting with a First Friday event September 4th from 4-6 and continuing into the weekend with a meet and greet with Lydia Saturday and Sunday, 11-2. She thoroughly enjoys engaging with her audience and hearing about the memories the paintings trigger, the stories you find, the aspects that draw you in, your favorite parts. The dialogue that ensues is equally meaningful to the artist and collector. Come pick out a favorite painting, learn where her inspiration comes from and find out about her techniques and processes.
