About this event
Led by The Paseo Project in partnership with Twirl, the STEAM-based program connects students from Taos, Questa, Peñasco, Red River, Dixon, Ojo Sarco, Picuris Pueblo, Taos Pueblo, and surrounding communities with art, science, and the changing forests around them.
A Forest in Motion: Youth Art + Ecology Exhibition is the educational program of the ongoing exhibition, Disturbance: The Art & Ecology of Change, on view at The Gallery @ Hotel Willa, through January 2027. Together, these exhibitions transform scientific concepts into a creative and personal intergenerational exploration of fire, resilience, stewardship, and ecological balance.
The exhibition invites visitors to enter an immersive, walk-through forest created by the students themselves.
