About this event
There’s something magical about making paper in the high desert!
Join Jacqueline Mallegni at Paper Rain Studio for a fun 3-day hands-on immersive workshop under the studio canopy with birds and cottonwood trees. We will focus on traditional papermaking with abaca and plant fibers for sculptural applications. Learn how to build armatures with natural materials, explore inclusions for added texture and color, mark-making with plant based ink and stains and surface embellishment.
