h special guest Lucy Clearwater\n\nKeep It Warm Tour 2026\n\nWED\, Novembe
r 11\, 7:30pm\n\nFor over a decade\, John Craigie has made music that br
ings people in\, not with spectacle but with sincerity and songs that feel
  like conversations.\n\nHis new album I Swam Here\, out February 6\, 2026
on Zabriskie Point Records\, was written and produced by Craigie and recor
ded between New Orleans and Astoria. Seven tracks were cut at Deslonde St
Studios with musicians handpicked by Sam Doores of The Deslondes\, includi
ng Howe Pearson\, Max Bien Khan\, Jonny Campos\, and a guest appearance fr
om Desiree Cannon.\n\nLongtime collaborator Anna Moss appears across much
of the record. The remaining tracks were finished at the Rope Room in Asto
ria\, carrying over the same spirit and palette. The cover art\, painted b
y Brittany Schall\, nods to the design of mid century samba and jazz recor
ds.\n\nThe album’s singles trace the path of its making. “Fire Season\
,” engineered by Bart Budwig\, was one of the first songs written and fe
atures Cooper Trail\, Nevada Sowle\, Luke Ydstie\, and Jamie Greenan. “D
ry Land” was reworked in Astoria after early New Orleans sessions didn
’t feel right. “Edna Strange\,” inspired by Marty Robbins\, is the o
nly track where Craigie plays steel string acoustic\, with Max Bien Khan o
n nylon string leads and a trio vocal arrangement in place of Moss’s har
 monies.\n\n&nbsp\;\n\nLucy Clearwater is a Los Angeles–based folk/Ameri
cana singer-songwriter who writes songs the way some people keep journals:
honestly\, carefully\, and with a deep respect for feeling. With a backgr
ound in classical violin and a sound rooted in acoustic instruments and hu
 man-scale storytelling\, her songs carry emotional clarity\, understated h
umor\, and the warmth of California folk traditions.\n\nA winner of the 20
24 Kerrville Folk Festival New Folk Competition\, Clearwater has become a
steadily rising voice in contemporary folk music. She recently completed h
er first headline tour\, performing 23 shows across the western United Sta
tes and Mountain West\, and has spent the last several years touring throu
ghout the US\, Canada\, the UK\, and Europe. She's often seen sharing stag
es with her friends and fellow artists such as John Craigie\, Victoria Can
al (both as a support act and band member)\, Ye Vagabonds\, Joe Pug\, Mart
 in Luke Brown\, Luca Fogale\, Ocie Elliott\, Tyler Ballgame\, and others.\
n\n$1 from every ticket is going to be added for the Rio Grande Food Proje
ct. .\n\nSince 1989\, Rio Grande Food Project  (RGFP) has provided membe
rs of our surrounding community with free supplemental groceries and kind\
, compassionate support. Originally started by members of Rio Grande Presb
yterian Church\, Rio Grande Food Project became an independent 501(c)(3) n
onprofit organization  in 2004\, and has continued growing and evolving i
n response to community needs each year since. Today\, RGFP continues to p
rovide free groceries to thousands of people each year\, along with additi
onal services and resources to help address root causes of food insecurity
through our Community Hub. Since 2019\, RGFP has operated a dynamic onsit
e garden\, growing fresh fruits and vegetables harvested for immediate dis
 tribution back into the community.
