SUMMARY:Steve Poltz
URL:https://dev.livetaos.com/events/steve-poltz/
LOCATION:Mary’s Place
DESCRIPTION:Steve Poltz’s JoyRide is his 14th solo album\, and exactly wh
at you’d expect from a guy who has to be tricked into entering a recordi
ng studio: no seatbelts\, no helmets\, just real humans making real noise
in real time.\n\nBorn from a spontaneous East Nashville hang with producer
Dex Green\, JoyRide is ten songs of mischief\, heart\, and accidental poe
try. The album features wild collaborations with Jim Lauderdale\, Vince He
rman of Leftover Salmon\, Bryan Owings\, and Chris Donohue\, blending humo
r and heartfelt storytelling with Poltz’s unmistakable charm.\n\nA found
ing member of The Rugburns and co-writer of Jewel’s “You Were Meant fo
r Me\,” Poltz brings the same irreverent energy to the stage. Come for t
he songs\, stay for the stories\, and buckle up for the ride.
