Rooted in Min Tanaka’s Body Weather Laboratory. We begin with a MB (mind/body . muscle/bone) a gently strengthening physical practice, followed by bodywork in pairs a sequence developed by Tanaka from shiatsu massage exchange. Sensitivity Training begins at 7:30 for those interested in developing creative material for performance. Participants welcomed from any medium with professional experience as well as those who are interested in developing a deeper relationship with nature through the doorway of the visceral.
Malone has led this practice at The Esalen Institute, The Kala Chhaya Cultural Centre, The Place in London, the UC & UNM dance departments, the oldest Women’s shelter in LA, the Sunshine Mission and in Native Women’s communities.
