Disturbance: A Forest in Motion: Youth Art + Ecology Exhibition OPENING RECEPTION

OPENING RECEPTION-A Forest in Motion: Youth Art + Ecology Exhibition is the educational program of the ongoing exhibition, Disturbance: The Art & Ecology of Change, on view at The Gallery @ Hotel Willa.

Hundreds of fourth- and fifth-grade students from across Northern New Mexico will come together to share their creative responses to fire, forests, and ecological resilience in Disturbance, A Forest in Motion, an immersive youth art exhibition

The exhibition invites visitors to enter an immersive, walk-through forest created by the students themselves. Moving through the installation, audiences encounter stages of growth, density, disturbance, regeneration, and renewal, experiencing the forest as a dynamic system rather than a static landscape.
