The Paseo Project, Del Fuego, and The Forest Stewards Guild, presents Burnt Earth, an exhibition of ceramic art brings the art from Amole Canyon burn scar to UNM Klauer Campus. OPENING RECEPTION on October 1, 4 -7 PM. Guest curated by Taos ceramic artist and educator Lee Akins, the exhibition brings together regional artists whose work reflects the elemental relationship among earth, minerals, fire, and human creativity.
Through exhibitions, field-based experiences, youth education, public programs, and community conversations, Disturbance explores wildfire, ecological change, resilience, and our evolving relationships with northern New Mexico’s forests and communities.
