About this event
Join us for a drop-in pottery experience where you’ll learn the basics of wheelthrowing, glazing, and firing, all in just two hours!
Whereas wet clay typically requires 1-2 weeks to become finished pottery, this class allows you to experience all of the stages of pottery in one session.
First, you’ll try your hands at throwing a few pots. Next, you’ll glaze a previous student’s pot that’s already been fired. Lastly, you’ll get to take home a finished pot that a previous student threw and another student glazed. This means other students will take home your pots when they are finished. *
* If you love your work and want to keep it, we can set your pottery aside so you can finish them in the next class you sign up for at the Cracked Pot.
Location: 485 Highway 150 Arroyo Seco, NM 87514
