Nature as Mirror: Making Myth with the Land

About this event

In this morning exploration, we gather in council, learn about the Four Shields of Human Nature (as taught by wilderness rites group, The School of Lost Borders), then wander the land solo for a couple of hours to see what nature as mirror reflects back to us in our inquiries/gratitudes/ declarations/letting gos/whatever it is we’re walking with. When we return to council, we can share our experience to the circle to be witnessed & affirmed in our own animistic & deeply-personal mythologies.

Arielle Reyna is a writer, artist & wild woman living in Taos. She is dedicated to magic, which, to her, is as simple as being present to the small wonders around us. As a rites guide, she’s deeply informed by nature connection and myth and how both recenter us in our innate wholeness and belonging.
