Omar Rane is a solo jazz, classical and flamenco guitarist. He studied at Cornish College Of The Arts in Seattle, and at Capilano College in Vancouver. He has played around the Taos area for over 20 years and has much experience playing weddings, private parties, gallery openings and elegant restaurant gigs. He plays primarily solo gigs now and has won “Best Jazz Musician” accolades from the local newspaper’s readers. Over the years he built a small recording/rehearsal studio in Taos, and has recorded, mixed and mastered over a hundred CDs.
