About this event
“Medicine of Disturbance” at Chamisal Ancianos Center
The Garcia and Santistevan Families bring “Medicine of Disturbance” to the High Road with this Pop-up exhibit. The Medicine of Disturbance explores the unexpected beauty, abundance, and healing that can emerge following wildfire and other ecological disruptions. Inspired by post-fire ecological monitoring, the project brings artistic interpretation together with scientific observation to reveal the plants, materials, relationships, and forms of renewal that emerge after.
