About this event
Location: Mountain Cloud Zen Center, 7241 Old Santa Fe Trail, Santa Fe, NM
Join Mountain Cloud Zen Center, Santa Fe Watershed Association, and Southwest Urban Hydrology for an educational, experiential workshop. Aaron from Southwest Urban Hydrology will provide an accessible introduction to hydrology, soil health, and erosion mitigation. We’ll then take our learning outside to build structures such as one-rock dams and media lunas, mulch bare patches of land, and sow native grass seeds to help catch sediment, retain moisture, and stabilize the soil for years to come.
Freely offered; RSVP requested.
