The Paseo Project presents The Displacement of a Norteña, a free public performance and pop-up installation by Taos-based artist David Michael Silva on Friday, June 26 from 7:30–9:00 PM on Taos Plaza. Created through Silva’s Agua y Azúcar Collective, the project blends live performance, film, sculpture, and ritual to explore memory, land, displacement, and cultural identity in Northern New Mexico. The evening includes a live ceremonial performance, artist conversation, and screening of new video work developed during Silva’s Taos to Vermont Artist Residency with the Vermont Studio Center. Free and open to the public.
