Join the Millicent Rogers Museum and the Taos Abstract Artist Collective for the opening reception of Where Silver Meets the Sky: What the Body Carries. This collaborative exhibition brings contemporary Indigenous artists into conversation with works from the museum’s collection, exploring how jewelry, textiles, and body adornments carry knowledge, memory, identity, place, and living cultural traditions. Curated by Myvanwy Birds and Claire Pelaez Motsinger, the exhibition connects historic and contemporary works across generations. The opening reception is free, accessible, and open to the public.
