About this event
Steve Poltz’s JoyRide is his 14th solo album, and exactly what you’d expect from a guy who has to be tricked into entering a recording studio: no seatbelts, no helmets, just real humans making real noise in real time.
Born from a spontaneous East Nashville hang with producer Dex Green, JoyRide is ten songs of mischief, heart, and accidental poetry. The album features wild collaborations with Jim Lauderdale, Vince Herman of Leftover Salmon, Bryan Owings, and Chris Donohue, blending humor and heartfelt storytelling with Poltz’s unmistakable charm.
A founding member of The Rugburns and co-writer of Jewel’s “You Were Meant for Me,” Poltz brings the same irreverent energy to the stage. Come for the songs, stay for the stories, and buckle up for the ride.
